Indie game project

When she was a child, Maxine lost her father in difficult circumstances and never had the chance to say goodbye.
Years later, his ghost comes back and start haunting her again.
By solving puzzles, she will be able to explore the house she is trapped in and will try to cast light upon the tragedy she had
to face during her early years.

Re:member is the final piece of a long work involving anthropological research, iconography collecting and interviews.
It is a reflexive game, adapting a true story to explore the questions of grief, love, forgiveness and acceptance. It started as part of my master’s degree, during the covid 19 pandemic and is still in development today.

Enfant, Maxine a perdu son père dans des circonstances difficiles, sans avoir eu la chance de lui dire au-revoir. Des années plus tard, son fantôme revient la hanter.
En résolvant des énigmes, elle pourra explorer la maison dans laquelle elle est piégée et tentera de faire la lumière sur la tragédie qui l’a frappée autrefois.

Issu d’un long travail de recherche anthropologique, de collecte iconographique et d’entretiens. Re:member est un jeu réflexif qui adapte une histoire vraie pour aborder la question du deuil, de l’amour, du pardon et de l’acceptation. Commencé dans le cadre de mon projet de diplôme pendant l’épidémie de covid 19, il est toujours en développement.
